Using juice recipes for weight loss is a fantastic idea. They can also be useful if you wish to do a detox. I am not much of a fan of detox diets, however if you really want to try one, using a wide variety of juices from fruits and vegetables is going to provide your body with plenty of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and phytochemicals (micro nutrients).

The best way to use juice recipes for weight loss is to drink them for morning and afternoon tea, and if you are really keen, for breakfast and as an entree to dinner.

The benefits are two fold from a weight loss perspective:

-They are a really easy way to consume a large portion of your fruit and vegetable intake, ensuring that your body is getting the nutrients it requires.

-They are fantastic for delaying hunger pains and help you to eat smaller portions for your main meals.

By using juice recipes for weight loss in this fashion you are simply replacing those nasty foods you typically eat at morning and afternoon tea with not only a low calorie substitute but a snack that will really energize your body, without that sugar spike you get from candy bars, cakes, pastries and soft drinks.

The one word of warning I will give is to avoid too much fruit. Most fruits are high in sugar and therefore calories. This fact is often missed as we tend to think if we eat lots of fruit, because they are good for use that is OK.

You must remember that weight loss in its most basic form can only be achieved if you burn more calories than you consume. So if you are going to use juice recipes for weight loss, make sure you don’t over do it with fruits.

So here are a few Juice Recipes For Weight Loss;

Breakfast, This is the one I do recommend you have fruits;

1 x orange

1 x banana

¼ cup low fat yogurt

½ cup water or 6 dozen ice cubes

1 x tablespoon rolled oats

Blend and enjoy.

Morning and or Afternoon tea;

1 x cup of leafy greens

1 x tomato

1 x tablespoon of parsley

1 x tablespoon of chives

Blend and enjoy.

3 to 4 carrots

½ of an apple

1 x dash of ginger

Blend and enjoy.

Entrée to Dinner;

3 to 4 carrots

½ a teaspoon of garlic

3 x stalks of celery

Handful of parsley or leafy greens

Blend and enjoy.
